Conflict

Conflict

Historically, conflicts have had various kinds of impact on human civilization because of the diverse nature of war, insurgency, terrorism and guerrilla warfare. In early civilization, such conflicts had occurred in the home of religion of different tribes etc. for the territorial expansion of ambitious kings and the military or politically strong armies.
However, Conflict is a part of social life and it functions as a social process for development. Political scientists have considered the conflict occurs for the shake of power, privilege, and authority. Conflict theorist argue that social order is maintained by power, privilege and authority; so dominant groups and powerful persons monopolize power for generation keeping away the powerless groups from opportunities, services, and resources.
Conflict is the product of human relation. Internal social conflict is concerned with goals, values and interest and tends to function positively for the social structure. In the internal conflict, the warring parties no longer share the basic values upon which the legitimacy of the social system rests and threaten to disrupt the structure.
